Avenue941

Avenue941 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Bradenton, Florida. Too many students in our community are falling behind with no one to catch them. Avenue941 was built to change that. We connect students across the Manatee County School District with trained volunteer learning coaches at 11 sites throughout Manatee County.

We provide access to technology, school supplies, snacks, and a School District teacher in order to provide academic support to students in Title 1 schools. We serve students K-12 to keep sibling groups together and to give high school students the opportunity to earn service hours for Bright Futures Scholarships. Avenue941 is so much more than just homework help. We are partnered with Samaritan Counseling to provide free counseling and we also offer high school internships and other opportunities for students to truly grow in academics, confidence, character development and spiritually.
